Hi all,

Recently built some search plugins for Firefox to search the major airsoft retailers...thought I'd share....



Yes...I have more than airsoft plugins.... I removed the others temporarily for clarity.
Still working on GnG.....it's a very unfriendly format.
No need for separate icons, I've decoded them base64 and included them in the .xml files.

There are three methods for installation as follows:

Installation Instructions


Manual Install for Firefox 2.0.0.x

firefox_beta.zip is for Firefox 2.0.0.x and above

Unpack to...

C:\Documents and Settings\{USER}\ApplicationData\Mozilla\Firefox\Pr ofiles\{your.profile}\searchplugins

There may be slight differences...i.e drive letter or Operating System, but it should be easy enough to find the \searchplugins folder.

(Note. I you haven't added search plugins from Mozilla or Mycroft etc. before, you may have to create the above directory)

{USER} is your windows user name
{your.profile} is your firefox profile name



Manual Install for Firefox 1.x.x.x RELEASES

firefox_release.zip is for RELEASES from versions 1.0 - 1.5.0.x

Unpack to...

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins

There may be slight differences...i.e drive letter or Operating System, but it should be easy enough to find the \searchplugins folder.

Automatic Install

All plugins have been submitted to mycroft and have been tested. They should work ok for both 1.x and 2.x Firefox.
