Really I should say that KTW is replicating history, The 18th flintlock pistol that was favoured by then US President, George Washington, is going to be re-created in airsoft form by KTW.
Judging from the photos provided by KTW, the pistol is will be exact replicas of the original “Gen. G Washington” flintlock pistols, once owned by George Washington and then inherited by Robert E. Lee, that currently reside in the Lee Chapel at Washington & Lee University.
With no hard specifications to go from, it appears it will be a wood stock, elaborate side plate and simulated brass barrel and simulated silver fittings. Whether the “Gen. G Washington” will be engraved on the butt plate as per the original is hard to say but knowing KTW, they will want to keep it as original as possible.
Power source will be electric with a BB capacity of 12 and a power rating of 0.4 Joules. Release date is stated as Summer 2009 and no word on price at this stage.
